We, the Fachschaft Mathematics and Computer Science (student representative body) at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology would like to invite you to our Master’s orientation days (Master O-Phase) in the summer term 2026!

The Master O-Phase Mathematics and Computer Science
takes place from Wednesday, April 15th to Friday, April 17th 2026
Participation
To participate in the O-Phase, we ask you to register. This way we can estimate how many people will participate and adjust our planning. Please fill out the survey as soon as possible.
General Information
The O-Phase is for all students that start a Master’s degree at the faculty of mathematics or the faculty of computer science in the summer term of 2026. Our program during the three days includes a variety of different events, where some are for conveying all relevant information about the studies at KIT and others are for getting to know your fellow students and the campus in general.
Some events are also aimed at all Master’s students and are also advertised separately.

Here is a rough plan of what to expect. Especially important are the welcome event where we explain the three-day schedule and the study programme information where all your questions about the organisation of your studies will be answered.

Application
If you have any questions regarding your application for a study place at KIT, please contact the Application Hotline at 0721/608-82222 on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10 am - 12 pm and Tuesday and Thursday from 1:30 pm - 3 pm.
Please note that the Fachschaft has no insight into the application documents for reasons of data protection!
